The Creation Program
– Christian Values
The Creation Program highlights important values. We believe that Christian values such as compassion, generosity, friendship, forgiveness, self-worth, empathy, and community build a strong foundation for a good life. The Creation Program helps us focus on these values. To explain the values, we use well-known Bible stories to build a strong foundation that will stay with the kids for their whole lives.
Value Cards
To help teachers fully understand each theme, we’ve created Value Cards. These cards provide a detailed explanation of each value, including:
• How to understand the value and present it to children.
• Why the value is important and the benefits it brings.
• The consequences of lacking this value.
• Tips on how to build and instill the value.
• How the value connects to a specific Bible story.
Gathering Time Cards
The Gathering Time Cards provide instructions for organizing a gathering. The title indicates the theme, the Preparation section lists necessary materials, and the implementation guides you through the process.Each theme period consists of four cards.
Bible Pictures
You’ll find beautiful Bible illustrations for all the stories in the program, which you can use in conveying the story with the children.
Bible Cards
Each theme has a Bible Card. These cards are designed to help adults get involved in the theme period. They contain information about Bible stories and suggest fun activities you can do with children.
Resources
The program contains various images and resources that you can display and use together with the children.
The Heart Culture Program
– Social Competence and Emotional Skills
The Heart Culture Program is a concrete and practical program that focus on social competence and emotional skills. Social competence and emotional skills are important for how we grow and develop, how we feel inside, get to know our emotions and how we treat one another.Mutual respect for diversity is one of the values that should be at the very core. Each and every one of us is valuable and has a place in the community that no one else can fill.
Dialogue Cards
The Dialogue Cards offers a comprehensive framework for conducting a Heart Gathering, consisting of seven key elements: Flying Start, Who’s Here, Focus Time, Team Building, Today’s Heart Friend Story, Today’s Activity, and End Activity.
Emotion Card
The Emotion Card will help you talk about different emotions. Throughout different periods, you will use this as an integrated tool for working with emotions. This card is used in both The
Creation Program and The Heart Culture Program.
